Particular attention was given to the degrees of difficulty (the number of changes required for each equation). Even the number of beads to be laid, changed or exchanged was taken into account (especially for the equations, for which the long division set is required). As is typical with Montessori material, the digits are colour coded according to their value (units, tens, hundreds, thousands, etc.) |
